"Thanks, Dad!" Cupcakes

I thought a few of these would be the perfect thank you for my dad, who's been such as help as Joe and I move. Black forest cupcakes with cherry filling and sweet, homemade whipped cream. Yum.

Happy Birthday, Grandmama!

My grandmother's favorite flower is the daffodil, so I wanted to put some on her cake to make it extra special. The cake didn't turn out perfectly, but at least it's better than the "China Star Garden" disaster from last year! ;)
